Ribble Valley Kambo

At Ribble Valley Kambo, I offer the beautiful ancestral medicine of Kambo, alongside other ancestral medicines to rejuvenate your spirit and restore balance in your life. Your safety in these sessions is my primary focus and I offer 1-1 services in a safe environment to allow you to have a very beneficial session where you can let go of what no longer serves you. My goal is to help you leave feeling refreshed, empowered, and feeling rejuvinated.

If you wish I can come to your home so that you are in familiar surroundings if this makes you feel more comfortable. There are some strict guidelines for this, for both your and my safety, also that the ceremony can be held with reverence to the medicine. Also if you wish someone to be there for support, again this isn't a problem but they can only observe and this must be agreed beforehand with me. The ceremony itself is between you and me only. When you send an enquiry to me this can be discussed in full.

Kambo Treatments image

Kambo

Kambo is a natural secretion from the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog and is celebrated for its potential powerful cleansing and healing properties. In my treatments, I guide you through the Kambo process, which involves applying this potent medicine in a safe setting. Many individuals have reported enhancements in mood, increased energy levels, and relief from various ailments after undergoing Kambo treatments. Kambo contains an array of natural peptides that are believed to support immune function and promote detoxification, helping the body eliminate harmful toxins. Additionally, some users experience emotional clarity and improved mental focus, which can lead to a greater sense of well-being. Kambo is also noted for its potential to alleviate symptoms related to anxiety and depression, offering a pathway for emotional healing. Furthermore, the process often fosters a deep sense of connection to nature and oneself, making it a holistic experience that transcends simple physical benefits. As always, it's essential to approach Kambo with deep respect and always under the guidance of a trained practitioner to ensure safety and maximize its potential advantages. My focus is on ensuring a comfortable experience through creating a safe space while harnessing the potential of this ancient practice of which I am honoured to be part of. Join me on a journey to cleanse and revitalise your body and spirit with Kambo.

Kambo is applied through "gates" that are opened through burning the top superficial layer of skin, Kambo is then applied starting with one point to test tolerance it is then picked up by the body's lymphatic system, I will then assess whether further points of Kambo are applied, in total the ceremony will last between 20 to 45 minutes. As part of the recovery process various sound healing instruments will be used to create a tranquil and healing environment for you. With consultation, recovery and food after the ceremony at least 2.5 hours should be set aside timewise, full instructions for what to do on the day and the night before will be given should Kambo be suitable for you.

Hapé image

Hapé & Sananga

Hapé, a traditional Amazonian snuff made from finely ground medicinal plants and tobacco (Mapacho). It is delivered by being blown into the nose via a Tepi which is a traditional application tool.

Sananga, a traditional eye drop derived from the inner bark of the Tabernaemontana. It is delivered by dropping into the corners of closed eyes, which are then opened for the Sananga to make contact with the eyes.

Both have been used for centuries by indigenous tribes in the Amazon rainforest, the Sananga I use comes only from the Matsés people. Sananga is often used in traditional ritualistic contexts to connect with spiritual realms and cleanse negative energies. Sananga is also believed to treat various ailments, including headaches and inflammation. Indigenous practitioners often incorporate it into healing ceremonies, using its powerful effects to promote overall well-being and restore balance within the body and spirit.
Sananga is revered for its spiritual and physical benefits. Users often report heightened clarity of vision and an enhanced sense of focus, both mentally and spiritually, a deep sense of peace and grounding is my personal experience with it.

The initial sensation of Sananga can be intense, but this subsides quickly, leaving users feeling rejuvenated and more attuned to their surroundings. Regular use is thought to enhance intuitive abilities and promote overall wellbeing.

A Hapé and Sananga ceremony offers a unique and transformative experience that is deeply rooted in traditional Amazonian healing practices. Hapé, a finely ground snuff made from various medicinal plants, promotes mental clarity, spiritual connection, and emotional release. The application of Hapé can induce a sense of grounding and presence, often facilitating introspection and personal insights. Complementing this, Sananga, eye drops enhance visual acuity and promotes a profound opening of perception. Many participants report increased awareness and enhanced focus following a Sananga session. Together, these practices create a holistic approach to wellness, addressing the body, mind, and spirit. The synergy of Hapé and Sananga allows individuals to cleanse energetic blockages, promote healing, and foster a greater sense of connection to themselves and the world around them. This powerful combination can lead to lasting benefits, both physically and spiritually.

A bit about me!

Over the past 23 years I have been on a Spiritual Journey that started with studying Buddhism and also regularly using Floatation Tanks (before the slick floatation pods that exist now!) due to having had a number of quite stressful jobs, I was always searching for peace and tranquility so studied meditation and other modalities over the years, I am trained in Sound Healing Therapy, Counselling, Nutrition and I am also studying Breathwork currently. Peace and tranquility was always within me, I just had to access it and connect with my heart. I have lived a colourful life, have followed a plant based diet for some 37 years and have lived abroad in different countries and I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, there is always something we can learn from each other. In regard to using traditional ancestral medicines it was a Cancer diagnosis that took me in that direction, one of those medicines was Kambo which I have used extensively due to it's array of different peptides including Dermaseptin B2 and Bromelin which in studies have been shown to have disruptive effects on Cancer cells. Please note that I used Kambo alongside Western Medicine and do not claim that it cured me, but I'm of the belief that it certainly had a part to play in my recovery and I would like to acknowledge that. I have undertaken Kambo training in Spain with highly skilled practitioners including Dr. Mauricio Albanes who is well respected in this field. I then decided to undertake training with the KPA Kambo Practitioner Alliance in the UK, I am now a full member of the KPA.

Whilst I am obviously not of Indigenous heritage, I hold the practices and tools of Indigenous cultures in the highest regard, I am very grateful to have been trained to serve Kambo and I recognize the deep cultural significance, wisdom, and history embedded in these ancestral traditions. I am committed to honouring their importance and ensuring that my engagement with them is approached with sensitivity and mindfulness. It is essential to amplify Indigenous voices and acknowledge their foundational role in preserving these practices, fostering a deeper understanding and respect within our shared community. All of my Kambo and Sananga comes directly from the Matsés people in Peru who treat the frogs with deep reverence, the frogs are unharmed and Kambo is only harvested from each frog once and they are released back to the jungle, this aspect deeply resonates with me.

I look forward to welcoming you on your Kambo journey.
